My G05 has EDC electronic damping. Does this front repair kit require coding after installation?
No coding needed. The bladder height curve matches OEM, and the EDC connector mount is identical. A 3-minute "air suspension height calibration" using any diagnostic scanner is recommended. Without it, the system auto-learns after about 5 km of driving.
My G05 has the factory lift mode (for tire changes or off-road). Will this function still work after your repair kit is installed?
Yes, fully functional. The bladder's max extension length matches OEM, and the top mount's air passage is unchanged. You can still raise the vehicle to its maximum ride height (approx. 250mm) using the console button. Tested over 100 continuous lift cycles with no binding.
At -20 °C, my G05 front suspension makes a "creaking" noise over speed bumps. Will your kit fix this? Also, can the bladder freeze?
That creak is from the OEM top mount's rubber bushing hardening in cold. Our top mount uses low-temp FKM rubber (-40°C stable) with a PTFE lubricating layer - eliminates noise. As for freezing: as long as your air dryer is functional (no moisture in system), the bladder won't freeze. We added an anti-static inner coating to prevent ice crystal adhesion.
