The 2203200258 is an air suspension solenoid valve block developed specifically for the Mercedes-Benz W220 S-Class. It serves as a core control component within the AIRmatic air suspension system, responsible for distributing high-pressure air generated by the compressor to each individual wheel's air spring as directed by the suspension control module. Through independent pressure regulation of all four wheels, it maintains the standard ride height and driving stability.
The valve block incorporates multiple solenoid valves internally, precisely controlled by the suspension control unit based on signals from the ride height sensors. The AIRmatic system continuously monitors the air pressure inside the valve block - once it detects pressure falling below the threshold, the instrument cluster displays the warning message "AIRMATIC STOP, CAR TOO LOW!"
